what lens can i use for close up photos so from like a foot away without getting blur i tried macro but it blurs stuff that's even an inch further then the front object, i need close up but also no blur

Hi Mitch, Thank you for doing this tutorial. I'm trying to do a song video. The song is 5:45 long. My X-T2 cuts it off at 5:20 and starts another file for the remainder of the song. What's causing it to create two files? Can the video settings be changed to fix the recording problem? Much appreciate for your help.

Would have used a much shittier old shit camera than that Nikon. Also, the professional model really changed the dynamic of the comparison. Given the parameters, I was hoping to see how a pro could take good pictures no matter the technical deficits; and, likewise, an inexperienced shooter can only get lucky no matter how great the equipment.

Excellent information. I was seriously thinking that the focus breathing from infinite to close focus could be a deal breaker, but clearly that is silly because I can use my Sony 10-20mm or 18-105mm f/4 PZ lens, which has no focus breathing and are must-have video lenses. Not enough people test focus breathing on talking heads shots, where moving forwards and backwards in your seat may cause very distracting focus breathing.

24-70mm zoom lens, since when you're on the run and the subject is not the most patient, this lets me "switch the lens" quickly.

Now do the same shoot with a 5 year old iPhone in natural sunlight 'cause none of the gear matters when you have a conventionally attractive model who's a pro at posing.

For some reason this only work before you edit the image in photoshop, but once you start adding a bunch of other layers, you don’t get the white borders anymore, is there any way around this do you know?

90 percent of people do not care about zoom or prime. 95 percent people dont care about bokeh actually have no clue what it is .. 100 percent of people care about feeling and how do they look at picture.

You can stick your mirrorless cameras where the Sun don't shine (though I do sometimes use a compact LX100) DSLR all the way for me.

I use 24-70mm indoors and 50-400mm outdoors with Sony A7R4A. I get good results.
